A TASTE OF HOME

I love being able to kick the new week off with exciting news and today I have the pleasure of doing just that! At long last I'm able to share with you the title, blurb and release date of my next sunshine filled release!

A TASTE OF HOME

Fliss Brown is very happy working on the Rossi family’s Italian fruit farm. From spring until late autumn, she lives on the land and feels part of the community there. When Nonna Rossi dies, she leaves Fliss her recipe for cherry and almond tart and a piece of advice:  find out who your own family are before it is too late…

With Nonna Rossi’s words ringing in her ears, and in spite of her mother's refusal to help, Fliss sets about trying to find her family and heal the wounds of the past.

She soon discovers that her grandfather owns a fruit farm himself, on the outskirts of Wynbridge, and Fliss arrives to discover a farm that has fallen into disrepair. Using her knowledge gleaned from the Rossi family and her desire to find out more about her past, Fliss rolls her sleeves up and gets stuck in. But what will she discover, and can she resurrect the farm’s glory days and find a taste of home…?

Pub day is April 29th

I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am to be heading back to wonderful Wynbridge for the summer. Did you know, we haven't been there in the sunshine since Coming Home to Cuckoo Cottage was released back in 2017? A snow free visit was well overdue and I've absolutely loved writing this one! It really has felt like coming home.

I hope you will enjoy getting to know Fliss, the new girl in town, or should I say the new girl in the country, along with her Grandad and of course there are lots of old friends and settings to revisit too.

Here's to a sunny return to lots of our favourites!

  3. Hello Heidi! What a lovely competition! I've got my fingers crossed! I think my favourite winter treat is making gingerbread and hot cocoa with my three year old daughter. Obviously, gingerbread is a winner in its own right 🤤 but making it with my little girl makes it even more magical. ❤️
