Well, I was right - for once! Back to work and everything goes belly up! My competition short story was a disaster and I had a very low day on Wednesday - perhaps I do have an artistic streak after all?
Anyway, to cut a long and sad story short I had a good think and decided to lay off the competitions and stick to my own stuff. Re-read the childrens' book I have been working on, fell in love with it again and haven't looked back since!
I'm clearly not cut out to write what I am told! Too much of a free spirit and all that...
Thanks again for all support - if it wasn't for the encouragement I probably would have thrown my hands up on Wednesday and hit the delete button!
