Author / Blogger London round-up

Wow, now that's what I call a Saturday! The Blogger Author meet-up in London organised by the wonderful Kim Nash and Holly Martin was totally worth the eight hour car, train, coach combo and I can't wait to do it all again.

The Waiting Room just up the road from Kings Cross station was already buzzing when I arrived at 12.15 and it just got busier and louder as bloggers and authors from all over the country, the world actually, poured in.

Not only was it a great opportunity to meet and have a catch up with old pals it was also great to meet social media buddies, many of whom I've 'known' for years, In Real Life. I would dearly love to start listing names but I know I'll never remember everyone. You all know who you are and as for those of you I missed, watch out for next time!

Mary Anne Lewis, Natalie Meg Evans & Helen J Rolfe

However, one person I really do need to mention is the fabulous bookaholic and Blogger of The Year 2015 Rea, of Rea Book Reviews fame (http://reabookreview.blogspot.co.uk/). Rea has always been a huge Cherry Tree Cafe fan and was responsible for the Twitter #paperbackcampaign last year.

Her support, along with that from all you fabulous bloggers really make the hours at the keyboard worthwhile. You make us authors feel loved and supported and for that I and my fellow pals are really most grateful. Your interviews, blog tour participation and social media posts are always appreciated. Thank you all!

Lovely, lovely Rea

I'm afraid I won't be able to make the meet up in Birmingham but if you are all planning to come back to London then count me in!

Wishing you all a wonderfully bookish week!

    1. It was really lovely Rae. Always great to get together with fellow enthusiasts and even better to match faces to thumbnail photos! I met folk I've 'known' for years and they were all fabulous!
