April... already!

My goodness me, where have the first three months of the year gone? I can hardly comprehend that we are already enjoying spring and that I have only popped a couple of posts on here since the Christmas decorations disappeared. However, in my defence, I have been ridiculously busy and we have been chatting on social media. A lot.

So, a little update...

As you probably already know, courtesy of aforementioned social media, I have signed another two book contract with Simon and Schuster and am hugely excited to have been asked to write another festive tale from Wynbridge which will be published this October.

For the last ten weeks I have been immersed in writing the first draft of Sleigh Rides and Silver Bells at the Christmas Fair and I can't wait to share more details about it with you.

Truth be told there are an amazing amount of things I would like to be able to share with you but until I get the nod I'm afraid my lips are sealed. One thing I can mention however, are the number of bookish outings to London and beyond looming on the horizon and I am looking forward to catching up with lots of you in person and hearing all about your news!

I can now confirm that I'm going to be running a couple of creative writing classes at a wonderful local academy a little later this year and in September I'm going to be taking part in the East Anglian Festival of Culture raising funds for Alzheimer's Research UK as well as joining the Books and The City Team for high tea and author chat at one of the fabulous Hillingdon Libraries #CultureBite Literary Festival events.

Also, keep an eye on this space for details of my wonderful new website which is currently under construction and a Coming Home to Cuckoo Cottage summer giveaway. The July publication day is leaping ever closer and I can't wait to see my name back on the supermarket shelves.

Wishing you all a wonderful week and keep your fingers crossed for sunshine this Saturday as I'm hoping to celebrate my birthday with the first barbecue of the year!

It would be wonderful to meet you and with that in mind, the Hillingdon event is happening on September the 30th (which is a Saturday), from 2-5pm. I'm going to be sharing details on both Twitter and Facebook as the time gets nearer so you will have plenty of time to make plans if you want to come along. H x

    1. Thank you so much Rae. I'm very happy with the title, especially as it sits so well with Mince Pies and Mistletoe from last year. The Hillingdon event is happening on September 30th and there are a few of us Simon and Schuster authors in the line-up. Thank you passing the details on to your friend and thank you for reading the post. H x
