The inimitable Sara-Jade Virtue had managed to coordinate the diaries of no less than 10, (yep 10) of us authors and invited dozens and dozens of fabulous bloggers to join in the bookish fun. There were questions, answers, readings, fizz (of course) and the most exquisite book cover themed cupcakes imaginable.
As you can see, my cake is decorated with the beautiful house, Prosperous Place, which features in Sunshine and Sweet Peas in Nightingale Square, which will be published on the 31st of May.
The exciting evening wasn't my only reason for traveling down to London yesterday. With a brand new book on the horizon there were plans to be made and ideas to be shared about how best to create that all important 'new book buzz' and I wish I could tell you everything we're planning for the next few months, but alas I can't...yet.
However, this screenshot of a tweet I posted last week will give you a little clue as to what to expect from me and the fabulous Books and The City Team during the next few weeks...
It's time to dig out those gardening gloves folks!
