A red letter day!

Hello my loves! How are you all? Sorry I haven't been around much for the last few days, but I've been head down at the keyboard working on The Christmas Wish List copy edits. I'm not going to lie to you, I was pretty jittery about heading back to Wynbridge. This dear book was written under such difficult and painful circumstances - we all remember wisdom and molar tooth gate - and I was worried that it wasn't going to come up to scratch. Thankfully, my concerns were completely unnecessary as I absolutely LOVE it! In fact, I couldn't be happier with it and I know it's far too early in the year to be getting my festive groove on but I'm sharing the cover, blurb and buying links again because I'm so proud of it.

After being let go from her job in a swanky hotel just weeks before Christmas, Hattie is feeling lost. Even more so when her high-flying boyfriend announces he’s landed his dream job in Abu Dhabi and asks her to move with him. Relishing the task of reigniting Hattie’s Christmas spirit, Dolly suggests they create a wish list of all the things the season can offer, and with the helpful hands of Wynbridge’s resident handyman, Beamish, Hattie finds her frosty exterior is starting to thaw.

Not only have I been beavering away on the next new release, I've also been thinking about some of the older ones. Today marks an extremely important anniversary for me as it is 2 years since I gave up the day job and became a full-time author.

My hard work, determination and commitment to following my heart has certainly paid off and I urge you all to do the same. No matter how big - or small - your dreams, never give up on them. If there's something you want then have the courage to go for it. There's always a way to make it happen. Believe in yourself and never, ever let anyone tell you any different. Even just a year ago I had no idea I would see a national railway poster campaign for Poppy's Recipe for Life being rolled out and yet...

See... anything really is possible...

Next week I'm going to be heading back to the screen as I start work on the Summer 2020 release. It's an absolute corker of a plot - in my humble opinion - and I'm hoping I'll be able to share some details soon! In the meantime, keep chasing your dreams and if you're in the Ruislip area on September 7th then do book a ticket for the Hillingdon Library and Books and The City Gin Fling, it's going to be spectacular!
