Well, here I am typing my first blog post in the new family abode and feeling very at home in my new writing spot. It seems barely possible that it has been little over a week since we took over residence and that routine has so willingly and comfortingly re-established.
Needless to say the move was exhausting as well as exhilarating and the house has a variety of quirks and dripping taps that need addressing before the fun begins and we delve into the heady world of paint samples and fabric swatches but there's no rush. We want to get a real feel for living here before we make any dramatic changes.
On the writing front I admit I haven't penned a single word however, The Cherry Tree Cafe manuscript has made a hasty and safe return from the hands of the RNA New Writers Scheme reader and the overall verdict is pretty good, in fact, to quote directly from the report;
'this is an excellent first novel attempt'
Thank you for all for sticking with me over what has been a tempestuous few months. I hope you continue to enjoy the blog and my journey to publication.
