RNA Conference 2015

2015 is turning out to be a year of firsts for me and last Saturday was no exception as I was able to attend the RNA Conference for the very first time. Initially I was disappointed to only be there for one day but you know, these Romance Authors party hard and I can now say without a doubt that easing your way in is the way to go!

Up at stupid o'clock to catch the 6.17 am train to London, the day unfolded without a hitch. The organisation was everything I have come to expect from the RNA and after gathering up my goody bag it was time to get my brain in gear and absorb the wealth of wonderful information and advice on offer.

The talks and workshops were superb and my personal favourites included Promotion Commotion with Hazel Gaynor and The Plot's The Thing with Liz Harris. That said they were all fantastic and on more than one occasion I found myself wishing I had the Time-Turner from Harry Potter so I could attend every seminar on offer!

Another fabulous part of the day was the opportunity to meet social media friends and match Real Live Authors to the thumbnails and  exchanged multiple tweets! I'm not even going to attempt to list everyone I chatted to because there were simply so many of you, but you know who you are and I wholeheartedly thank you all for making my debut conference such a memorable one.

I can't think of any better way to lead into The Cherry Tree Cafe publication day countdown and I thank you all for your kind words, well wishes and continued support.
