A quick round-up

Hello folks! What a busy few days I've had and it's set to get even busier, so I thought I'd post a quick round-up of what I've been up to and where I've been to keep you all in the loop.

I've just come back from another truly energising and inspiring RNA Conference. This time it was held at Lancaster University amid stunning scenery and as always, there was a jam packed schedule of workshops, seminars and presentations. No matter where you find yourself along your author journey, there is always something to learn and I can't recommend the events highly enough. Highlights for me this year included Chick Lit in the 21st Century, author branding with Cathy Bramley and the goddess who is Dorothy Koomson in conversation with Alison May.

Of course, it isn't all work and no play. There are plenty of opportunities to catch up with friends, meet industry professionals, network and compare literary tattoos!

And there's also the chance to stock up on new books so I picked up this beauty by Jo Thomas. The lovely lady herself was in attendance, so I was even able to get it signed.

I'm back home now and feeling ready to face the next phase of my writing year - painstakingly working through the proof pages of The Christmas Wish List - which I am absolutely LOVING by the way - and getting to grips with the Summer 2020 book. We have finally settled on a title and I'll hopefully we able to share it with you all very soon.

That's all my news for now my loves. I hope all is well with you and yours? Keep popping back for more news and don't forget, Poppy's Recipe for Life is still an ABSSOLUTE STEAL and the Wish List is already available to order.

Wishing you all a wonderful week!
