Not quite as dramatic as it sounds, just taking a few days off from the novel to gain a bit of perspective. So many twists and turns added to 'section 1' that I feel as if I need fresh eyes to read through again and make sure it all 'flows'.
Also have a change in work schedule this week so I am going to focus on a competition entry I am putting together and continue note taking for the next phase of the novel. Rather than stressing about lack of writing hours I am just going to snatch whatever time I can and try and be as productive as possible; lunch hours, early morning, queues, anything will do as long as I am writing.
