Well, as you know earlier in the week I was hoping that the new creative writing course was going to give me some fresh ideas and challenges and, I am delighted to report, it did not disappoint!
Julia Webb is a wonderful tutor and poet and offered us some fantastic opportunities to extend our methods of writing. For example trying to tell a story in 6 and then 14 words! No easy task, these were my humble offerings:
Cash poor. Love rich. Still hungry.
and
Train journey. Laboured, fragmented, slow. Following a dream to journeys end and another station.
Hardly astounding I know but not bad for a mere few minutes concerntrated effort. They put a smile on my face! More to follow...
